Saved by Ekitike: Slot must drop 5/10 Liverpool star who lost the ball 15x

Liverpool saw off Southampton at Anfield to advance to the fourth round of the Carabao Cup, and it was all rather pedestrian until Hugo Ekitike’s hot-and-cold second-half appearance, scoring the winner and seeing the referee’s red glare after his shirtless celebration.

Alexander Isak, signed from Newcastle United for a British record £125m fee on transfer deadline day, made his second start at Anfield and got off the mark after coolly converting before the break, but defensive disaster gave Saints a route back in during the second half.

And then Ekitike came alive, tapping the impressive Federico Chiesa’s cross-box pass into an empty net after a bright and lively showing, only to get himself sent off

He will miss the forthcoming Premier League trip to Crystal Palace.

Ekitike's performance vs Southampton

It’s been quite the start to life in Liverpool for Ekitike, arriving in July for an initial £69m fee and getting up to speed against the backdrop of the Reds’ high-profile bid for Isak, raging through August.

The Frenchman has only used the competition to spur him on, with his 85th-minute winner against Southampton the fifth goal of his Liverpool career, eight games in. He also has one assist.

However, the hype train has been paused after a moment of madness, getting sent off after converting the winner.

He won’t be present when Liverpool travel to Selhurst Park on Saturday, but as journalist Bence Bocsak put it, it’s “been an incredible start” for the 23-year-old, who is very much proving his worth in an internal tussle with Isak for the ascendancy.

However, Arne Slot will be frustrated by more than just his striker’s dismissal, with a number of Redmen leaving something to be desired.

And Jeremie Frimpong was at the epicentre, surely now facing a fresh battle for a regular starting berth at right-back after a poor effort in the Carabao Cup.

Slot must drop Jeremie Frimpong

Frimpong was among the wave of recruits this summer; in fact, he was the first to walk through the Anfield gates, signed from Bayer Leverkusen for just under £30m.

Liverpool's Jeremie Frimpong

Injury has disrupted his start to life as a senior in England, his only Premier League start coming in the season opener against Bournemouth. The Dutchman will be gunning for another, but it’s unlikely to come against Palace after an unconvincing display against Championship opposition.

The Liverpool Echo gave Frimpong a 5/10 match rating and criticised his ‘off-night’, lacking fluency on the ball and struggling to contain the bustling Ryan Manning. Conor Bradley was introduced after the break, and Frimpong advanced to an attacking role on the right flank.

The 24-year-old’s defensive contribution was lacking, and he struggled to take the handbrake off and unleash his athletic, high-speed style of play.

Bradley will hope to return to the starting line-up, but it wouldn’t be surprising to see Dominik Szoboszlai returning to his moonlit role out wide, having plyed his craft industriously and effectively so far this season.

In any case, all this competition is only a good thing for Slot’s side, who still haven’t hit their stride and yet are firing on all cylinders. Onto the next.

Gareth Southgate's two Man Utd demands to INEOS revealed as pressure mounts on Amorim

Manchester United are in a perilous position with Ruben Amorim in charge, and it is no surprise that they are considering alternative bosses at Old Trafford.

Manchester United's potential alternatives to Ruben Amorim

Inconsistent results have led the Red Devils to a lowly plight in the bottom half of the Premier League, and club chiefs are now casting an eye to alternatives should Amorim be relieved of his duties.

Crystal Palace manager Oliver Glasner has been earmarked by Manchester United, and Steve Parish is doing all he can to see the German coach remain in the capital.

Crystal Palace manager OliverGlasnerbefore the match

Nevertheless, Paul Merson believes the Red Devils should go in a different direction, claiming the 51-year-old’s preferred formation wouldn’t align with the squad available at Old Trafford.

He stated via The Express: “Let’s say Ruben Amorim was manager at Palace now, he’d have half a chance of being a success. Palace have the players to play three at the back. They have the attributes in their squad to play in that system. For me, that’s why I’d be concerned about Glasner going to Man United.

“He’s a three-at-the-back man, and it is being proven that it is a system that just doesn’t fit the players at Man United. Glasner is not a good fit for Man United. Of course, I’m sure he’d be adaptable, and he’s proven with how he handles the players, but the system he uses is just all wrong for United. Amorim can tell you that.”

Michael Carrick has been mentioned in media circles, albeit he is probably one for the future, though one of his compatriots is now believed to be firmly in the running should Amorim be discarded over the coming weeks.

Gareth Southgate makes two demands to Man Utd

According to The Sun, former England manager Gareth Southgate has asked Manchester United for two key demands as he becomes a potential candidate to succeed Amorim.

First off, the 55-year-old, who was hailed for his underappreciated “ruthless” streak by John Stones, has made it clear he wants time to piece together a long-term roadmap to success, something he believes could take four years to master before the Red Devils are Champions League regulars once again.

Reticent to commit before his guarantees are fulfilled, he also wants INEOS to back him through all phases of his plan without fail, creating a sense of unity among all parties as Manchester United look to establish themselves among the elite once again.

The ex-Three Lions coach hasn’t managed at club level since his spell at Middlesbrough between 2006 and 2009. However, his time in charge of England was largely successful, reaching back-to-back European Championship finals and finishing fourth in the World Cup in 2018.

Given his ability to build sides capable of deep runs involving some of the world’s best talent, he may be the ideal man to get more out of Manchester United’s faltering players.

Bukayo Saka's going nowhere! Arsenal determined to hand star winger new contract that includes 'record-breaking' pay rise amid transfer fear

Arsenal are determined to hand star winger Bukayo Saka a new contract, with the England international set for a massive pay hike. After tying down William Saliba to a long-term deal, the Gunners have now shifted their focus to Saka and want to wrap up contract talks as early as possible amid fears that the wide man could draw transfer interest in the future.

  • Arsenal want to retain existing squad members

Arsenal spent heavily in the summer transfer window to rebuild their squad as they brought in as many as eight new players. The Gunners' outlay has had an impact already as they have won eight out of their first 10 Premier League games and are being considered as early favourites to win the league title.

However, new sporting director Andrea Berta had mentioned that retaining existing key squad members on a long-term basis continues to remain the club's top priority. In the past few months, they have extended the deals of Gabriel, Ethan Nwaneri, William Saliba and Myles Lewis-Skelly and are now hoping Saka agrees to their offer.

Saka set to be offered blockbuster deal

Per , Arsenal have met Saka's representatives on multiple occasions in recent times, which has made it clear that the Gunners are determined to retain their star player. The Premier League leaders want to wrap up the process as early as possible amid fears of transfer interest from across Europe. The club want to tie down Saka until the summer of 2030 and are planning to offer wages in the region of £12 million ($16m) gross per season.

The report adds that Saka's renewal will reflect owner Stan Kroenke's confidence in the player and will also send a message to other clubs that Arsenal can hold onto their star players. The Gunners remain confident that Saka will agree on the new deal.

  • Saka 'believes' Arsenal can win Premier League

In a recent interview, Saka expressed his confidence in Arsenal winning the Premier League this season, as she said: "This year, I feel we’re a very strong group and we’ve got a lot of quality. We’ve already suffered a lot of injuries, but you know, the players that have come in have shown that we can all keep the level at the top at the highest. That’s what it’s going to take for us to go all the way. I think that’s where we’ve slipped off in a few seasons, but this season, I think we’ve got that. And you know, it’s making me really believe we can do it."

Can anyone beat Arsenal this season?

Mikel Arteta's side, who have won eight out of their first 10 league matches, have been hailed as favourites to lift the trophy in May. As by far the most consistent side in the division so far, the Gunners have been told the trophy is theirs to lose, although there is one club who could challenge them.

Speaking on his self-titled podcast, ex-Manchester United defender Gary Neville said: "This has got to be them, hasn't it? This has got to be their year. This is the fourth season on the bounce that I've had them to win the league, but they're not necessarily miles better, they're repeating their levels of consistency, and that's all they're going to have to do this year to win the league. They're not going to have to go and get 100 points, they're not going to have to get even 90 or 95 points to win the league, mid-80s, high 80s will win them this title, and they can do that."

He added: "The reason I say I’m confident Arsenal will win the league is because you always think about what can stop a team. If Liverpool lost Virgil van Dijk or Mohamed Salah in previous seasons they would be in trouble. But I can’t think of any player Arsenal might lose now and it would mean they would lose the title…even the two centre-backs because of the summer signings. Every position is covered. Bukayo Saka was that player in the past but Noni Madueke came in when he was injured. Everywhere, they are properly doubled up with the same level of quality or only a small drop-off. So who’s going to take it off them? Arsenal would have to beat themselves not to win it. I don’t think Man City are going to get back to a level they’ve been at previously and come back at Arsenal. Pep Guardiola is a genius but he hasn’t got the players or the team playing at the level needed. Liverpool are the only team but they would have to get back on track very quickly."

£150k-per-week West Ham star now unsettled as club prepare January bid to test Sullivan

West Ham United are aiming to rise up the table over the coming weeks, though they may need to come to a conclusion on the future of one key star who is now attracting serious interest.

Nuno and West Ham finalise coaching staff appointments

Nuno Espirito Santo hasn’t been in the door long at West Ham and has had plenty to sort out in his limited time at the London Stadium, though he will be pleased to have fully onboarded his coaching staff after an announcement was made on Saturday.

Mark Robson, Gerard Prenderville and Steve Potts are now full-time first-team coaches. Meanwhile, Billy Lepine will work with their goalkeeping group to complete their list of new staff.

Speaking after the announcement, Nuno said: “I am very happy that Mark, Steve, Gerard and Billy have agreed to continue in their positions permanently. They are a great asset: people who, beyond their knowledge and effort, feel for West Ham United. This is key to the challenge we are currently facing.

“I’ve been very impressed by their work, their knowledge and their commitment to West Ham United. They know the Club, the players and the people here very well, and that’s a great strength for us going forward.”

Managing a club that have underperformed of late comes with a responsibility to make bold decisions. Taking a step in that direction, Nuno has sidelined West Ham midfielder James Ward-Prowse as he looks to mix things up in the engine room.

Now, the Hammers may soon need to deal with an enforced change in the middle of the park if reports are to be believed surrounding the future of a London Stadium star.

Flamengo to submit Lucas Paqueta offer

According to Bolavip, Flamengo are set to submit an official offer for West Ham’s Lucas Paqueta, and they believe a deal could be doable, with the report stating that the former Lyon man isn’t entirely happy in the English capital.

Talks are accelerating over a potential transfer that could take place in January, albeit it isn’t yet clear whether the 28-year-old would be open to moving before the 2026 World Cup.

Labelled a “maverick” by David Moyes, Paqueta has scored 21 times in 128 appearances for West Ham and can operate in a variety of positions, including attacking midfield, central midfield or on the left flank.

Nuno has relied on the South American thus far, starting him against both Everton and Arsenal, with there being little doubt he is one of West Ham’s star men when playing at the peak of his ability.

After being cleared of misconduct for alleged betting breaches earlier this year, he is currently on international duty with Brazil and came off the bench during their 5-0 triumph over South Korea on Friday.

With his importance to the West Ham cause undeniable, Nuno will hope to pull out all the stops to prevent the £150,000 per week star from moving back to his homeland permanently.

However, any reasonable bid could test chairman David Sullivan’s resolve, considering Paqueta is out of contract in 2027.

'It looks nasty' – Vincent Kompany and Joshua Kimmich react to Luis Diaz red card as Bayern Munich boss hopes for 'speedy recovery' for PSG star

Bayern Munich’s 2-1 Champions League win over Paris Saint-Germain was marred by controversy after Luis Diaz’s reckless tackle on Achraf Hakimi saw him sent off just before half-time. The Colombian forward, who had scored twice, now faces a suspension as Vincent Kompany and Joshua Kimmich expressed sympathy for the injured PSG full-back and reflected on the fiery encounter.

  • Heated night in Paris ends with red card drama

The Bavarians secured a hard-fought 2-1 win over PSG at the Parc des Princes, but the match was overshadowed by Diaz’s red card late in the first half. The ex-Liverpool winger, who had scored both goals for Bayern, went in late on Hakimi, catching the Moroccan full-back on the ankle after losing possession. Referee Maurizio Mariani initially showed a yellow but upgraded it to a red following a VAR review.

Diaz’s dismissal came at a time when PSG were already reeling from the injury-enforced substitution of Ousmane Dembele. Despite being reduced to ten men, Bayern held on to claim victory, leaving the hosts concerned over Hakimi’s fitness ahead of the Africa Cup of Nations.

Kimmich and Neuer reflect on Diaz’s challenge

After the match, Bayern stars Kimmich and Manuel Neuer offered their takes on the incident, both showing understanding for Diaz while acknowledging the severity of the foul.

Kimmich, speaking to , explained: “Lucho was a bit frustrated in that situation. He was a little annoyed that he lost the ball. I saw it briefly on the screen. He had actually slid in beside the man, and Hakimi wanted to get his body in front of him at that moment, and that's why he caught him low. But it does look nasty.”

Neuer, who was named Man of the Match, also weighed in after learning more about the tackle: “I was told it wasn't a particularly hard foul, not a red-card foul. I don't know if it was excessively harsh you have to see that. Lucho was disappointed at halftime and kept his fingers crossed for the team that we could see it through.”

Their reactions highlighted the emotional toll on the Colombian, who was visibly distraught leaving the pitch, knowing he had jeopardised an otherwise stellar display.

  • Kompany’s perspective and sympathy for Hakimi

From the touchline, Kompany had a clear view of the challenge and expressed both concern and empathy afterward. The Die Roten boss was visibly unsettled by the tackle and drew parallels to Jamal Musiala’s injury against PSG during the Club World Cup in the United States.

Speaking to , Kompany said: “It’s a shame that the PSG player had to come off injured. At first, I didn’t think it was that dangerous. But of course, it happened, and when a player gets injured, I always think of what happened to Jamal [Musiala]. He broke his leg against PSG in the USA. Then you think: ‘Is that comparable?’ But I have to be honest: the most important thing for me is that Hakimi isn’t injured for too long. I wish him a speedy recovery.”

Injury concerns for PSG & Diaz’s ban ahead of Arsenal clash

Hakimi’s condition remains a concern for Les Parisiens, with reports confirming he left the stadium on crutches and wearing a protective boot. Captain Marquinhos said post-match: “We have to wait for the tests. They’ve done some minor checks already, and more information will follow later.”

Meanwhile, Diaz made unwanted Champions League history by becoming only the second player ever to score twice and be sent off in the same match, following Antoine Griezmann’s similar feat for Atletico Madrid in 2021. Diaz will now serve a suspension, missing at least one game in the competition. His absence comes at a crucial time, as Bayern prepare for a heavyweight showdown against Arsenal at the Emirates on November 26. Both clubs boast 100% records in the group stage, setting the stage for a thrilling battle for top spot.

With Hakimi’s recovery uncertain and Diaz sidelined, both PSG and Bayern face significant challenges ahead: one looking to heal, the other to sustain their momentum in Europe’s toughest competition.

Juan Soto Bluntly Addresses Free Agency Plans After Yankees’ World Series Loss

Juan Soto was one of the last New York Yankees players to leave the dugout after the team lost the World Series in a 7-6 Game 5 defeat against the Los Angeles Dodgers on Wednesday night.

In the biggest of moments, the Yankees couldn’t deliver, and now Soto could be looking for his next team amid rampant speculation over his future.

Soto’s teammates and coaches have made their opinion clear: “Stay with us,” Giancarlo Stanton said in a postgame media session. But Soto, who joined the Yankees this past December, is primed to test free agency this offseason.

The star slugger was asked if he expected the New York Mets to pursue him in free agency, and he gave a telling response.

“I don't know what’s the teams that are going to come after me,” Soto said. “But definitely, I’ll be open to this and every single team. I don’t have any doors closed or anything like that. I’m gonna be available for all 30 teams.”

Not a good indication of his chances of staying in the Bronx.

Soto, 26, helped the Yankees reach their first World Series since 2009, slashing .288/.419/.569 with 41 homers and a league-leading 128 runs during the regular season. He's reportedly expected to earn a contract in excess of $500 million.

In the wake of the Yankees’ crushing World Series loss, Soto elaborated on his time with the team and discussed whether the Yankees had an advantage in his upcoming free agency.

“Leaving any place that is a winning team is always hard. This place was really special. It’s been a blast for me. I've been really happy,” Soto said.

“I feel like every team has the same opportunities when I go into free agency. I don’t want to say anyone has an advantage because at the end of the day we’re gonna look at what they have and how much they want me,” continued Soto.

Brian Cashman Reacts to Joe Kelly Bashing Yankees After Dodgers’ World Series Win

New York Yankees general manager Brian Cashman, speaking to reporters from the annual General Mangers Meetings in San Antonio, Tx., on Tuesday, said that recent critical comments made by Los Angeles Dodgers relief pitcher Joe Kelly are not indicative of how the World Series-winning club views New York.

"I heard that, I also know people with the Dodgers," Cashman said. "So I’ve got some internal conversations that I’ve got feedback on. I think it’s more representative of some specific players rather than the overall group.

"In Joe’s case, it feels like for some reason it’s a little personal the way he’s been out there talking like he has. … So I can’t make much more than that. I know he’s certainly talking a lot right now, and he won – or they won."

Kelly, among other things, said the Dodgers made their now-infamous Game 5 fifth-inning comeback, which was sparked by a comedy of errors from the Yankees, because New York "started kicking the ball around and playing Yankee baseball."

Kelly during an appearance on the podcast followed up those comments by saying the World Series was a "mismatch" and had the playoff teams been re-ranked, said the Yankees would have been the "eighth or ninth-best playoff team."

Kelly's comments came on the heels of reporting from the Joel Sherman, who outlined the Dodgers' apparent scouting report, which was to simply put the ball in play and "make the Yankees execute."

But Cashman, leaning on his sources in the Dodgers' organization, feels that the club's view of his Yankees as a team of "talent over fundamentals", comes from a select group of players, and not the entirety of the organization.

Figuring out a way to improve fundamentally should be a part of New York's winter plans. But Cashman may have bigger fish to fry this offseason, namely retaining free agent slugger Juan Soto, who could command a contract that makes him the second-highest paid player in baseball behind Shohei Ohtani.

Maresca handed Vlahovic boost amid renewed stance with Chelsea "offered" January deal

Chelsea boss Enzo Maresca has been handed a fresh boost over Juventus striker Dušan Vlahović, with the player now ready to take one drastic action to leave Turin.

While summer signing Liam Delap is now ready and available once again after weeks on the sidelines with a hamstring problem, the Englishman’s absence somewhat exposed Chelsea’s lack of striker options.

BlueCo were forced to cut short Marc Guiu’s loan spell at Sunderland and bring the Spaniard back to Stamford Bridge as cover for Delap, with Joao Pedro, an arguably more natural number 10, also handed the task of playing up front by Maresca.

Guiu was handed his first Premier League start of the season for Chelsea in their 2-1 loss to the Black Cats last weekend, but failed to make the desired impact, despite scoring against Ajax a few days prior.

While Chelsea forked out nearly £300 million in the summer transfer window, placing them among England’s most lavish spenders, Maresca still finds himself short in key areas.

This is particularly the case at centre-back, and reports suggest that Chelsea are set to prioritise a new defender in January as a result.

The likes of Crystal Palace star Marc Guehi, who could reportedly re-join his former club on a cut-price deal in the winter, and Bayern Munich’s Dayot Upamecano have both been discussed as options by Chelsea in that regard (Graeme Bailey).

Further forward, Chelsea are believed to be considering a new striker as well, as journalist Simon Phillips has reported, but any deal would be in the ‘cheaper’ bracket.

Phillips mentions Vlahovic as one option, and this is backed up by other media sources.

It is believed that Chelsea have already held talks with the Serbia international’s agents given his contract expires at the end of this season, and there’s now been another update.

Chelsea given fresh Dusan Vlahovic boost amid fresh stance

Speaking to The Chelsea Chronicle, reporter Graeme Bailey says that Maresca’s side have been offered the chance to do a deal in January.

Juventus' DusanVlahovicduring the warm up

Vlahovic, who apparently earns a staggering £370,000-per-week at Juve, is also ready to take a pay cut after renewing his stance in that regard — coming as a boost for Chelsea.

Ever since his breakout campaign in 2020/2021, Vlahovic has managed at least 14 goals per season, often far more.

The ex-Fiorentina “superstar” has also scored in big Champions League games against the likes of Borussia Dortmund and Man City in the last two campaigns, so the prospect of signing him for below £20 million is a pretty enticing one.

If Chelsea do make a move, Vlahovic’s potential wage cut will be key, as Chelsea’s current highest earning first-team player is Reece James on £250,000-per-week.

This doesn’t include ‘bomb squad’ member Raheem Sterling, who takes home roughly £325,000-per-week.

Maurizio Sarri demands foreign referees be brought in as Lazio coach slams Serie A standards

Lazio head coach Maurizio Sarri has demanded the recruitment of foreign referees in Serie A to elevate the officiating standard in the Italian top flight. The 66-year-old was furious about a few decisions taken by the officials during his side's clash against Inter game, but stressed the issues are prevalent in the league.

  • Sarri furious after Lazio loss

Lazio suffered a 2-0 defeat against Inter, with Lautaro Martinez and Ange-Yoan Bonny scoring in either half to hand a defeat to the visitors. Sarri, who fumed after Martinez's challenge on his pupil Mattia Zaccagni, was shown a yellow card by the match official. The Italian winger was also forced off the pitch, and Sarri was annoyed by the risk of Lazio conceding a goal as a result.

    Sarri slams Serie A officials

Sarri took a dig at the refereeing in Serie A, calling it below par. He said after the Inter game: "Why did I get angry? For one simple reason: Lautaro's foul on Zaccagni deserved a yellow card. If it had, Zaccagni shouldn't have left the pitch. Not only did he not issue a yellow card, he forced Zaccagni off the pitch, and we almost conceded a goal from that side. Even Padre Pio would have gotten angry."

Instead of booking the Argentine forward, the referee showed a yellow card to Sarri for expressing his frustration at the sequence of events. "I don't see any referees up to the task, including tonight's. I hope Serie A can get the help of referees from abroad; they need to be 'rented' there," he said.

He added: "We're paying for something inside the box. We had a few chances, but it's not easy. What positives do I take away? This is a team that's improving. After the first goal, the team recovered and stayed in the game until the end. Let's start again with this mentality."

  • Sarri stops short of blaming referee for Inter loss

Sarri admitted that Inter were the better side in the game as he held off of blaming the officials for his team's defeat, saying: "The referee didn't influence the result. Inter played better than us and would have won regardless of who officiated. When you enter San Siro and concede a goal after two minutes, it becomes tough. We wobbled but got back into the game. We had our chances. It wasn't a disastrous match. It's frustrating because the two goals came from two simple turnovers: the first near the box, the second right after we regained the ball. Perhaps these errors favour the more technical team, but it leaves a bitter taste. The performance was decent.

"We pay for the technical gap; we'll see if we can close it as much as possible. We don't have a traditional striker. Our forwards have other characteristics. The only one could be Castellanos, who can handle himself well in the box; the others play the role differently. Right now, we're paying for that in the area, yet coming to San Siro we still had two or three scoring chances, which isn't easy."

Two successive Milan games await Lazio

Lazio currently sit ninth in the Serie A standings, having accumulated four wins and three draws in 11 games so far. The defeat to Inter was also their first loss since September, when they went down to Roma. With no continental football this season, Lazio are solely focused on Serie A, trying their best to utilise this season to head back to the European competitions. They will resume action on November 23 against Lecce and then take on Milan in successive games across the domestic league and the Coppa Italia on November 29 and December 4, respectively.

Sarri is hoping that he will be able to enhance his squad in the January transfer window, saying: "They haven't told me yet whether the transfer market is open or not. I think the market is open, but I'm waiting for the official announcement and then we'll make the various decisions as necessary."

Longtime Guardians Owner Larry Dolan Dies at Age 94

Longtime Cleveland Guardians owner Larry Dolan died at age 94 on Sunday, his family and the team announced on Monday.

“We are saddened by the loss of our Dad, but lucky to have him as part of our lives as long as we did,” son Paul Dolan, Cleveland Guardians owner, chairman and CEO, said, via . “He was a loving husband, father and grandfather who was passionate about his family, work, our community and his love of our local sports teams, including owning the Cleveland Guardians.”

Dolan purchased the Guardians in 2000, making him and his family the longest-tenured owners in the franchise's history. It was special for Dolan as he grew up and lived in Cleveland. He purchased the team for $323 million through a family trust from Dick Jacobs, who owned the team from 1986-99.

The Guardians posted a tribute video for Dolan on Monday.

Under Dolan's 25 years owning the Guardians, he saw them post a 2,046-1,899 record, win seven AL Central titles, two wild-card berths in 2013 and '20 and one AL pennant in 2016.

Since 2013, Dolan's son Paul has been the main representative for the organization. Sports investor David Blitzer joined the ownership as a minority owner in 2022, and he is expected to eventually take over as majority owner.
