وقال أسينسيو في تصريحات نشرتها صحيفة “ديفنسا سنترال” الإسبانية: “نحن كنا نعلم أنّ هذه المباراة كانت مُهمة للغاية، لقد حققنا النقاط الثلاث، وهذا ما أردناه”.

وأضاف: “لقد كانت لدينا فرص لإنهاء المباراة بشكل أفضل حتى في الشوط الأول، لكن المباراة كانت جيدة، لقد صنعنا العديد من الفرص، وحققنا فوزًا جيدًا”.

وعن العودة للتهديف مرة أخرى: “كلاعب عليك أنّ تنتظر اللحظة وتستغلها، من قبِل كنت أسدد ولكن الكرة لم تكن تدخل، الآن من الجيد أنّ أسجل في أهم لحظات الموسم”.

وأتبع: “أنا بخير وأشعر أنني على ما يُرام، كل شيء يتطلب الهدوء، وبالتأكيد سيكون هُناك المزيد من الأهداف”.

وعن مباراتي ليفربول وبرشلونة القادمتين: “نحن ينتظرنا أسبوع مُهم للغاية، لقد كان يتعين علينا تحقيق الفوز، الآن لدينا ليفربول وبرشلونة، علينا أنّ نرتقى إلى مستوى ريال مدريد، سنذهب للفوز بجميع المُباريات”.

وأتم تصريحاته قائلًا: “هذا الموسم كان هُناك العديد من الإصابات ولكن نجحنا في التغلب على الأمر، علينا الاستمرار بهذه العقلية”.

كشفت تقارير صحفية فرنسية، أن الدولي البرازيلي ماركينيوس مدافع باريس سان جيرمان، قد يغيب عن مواجهة بايرن ميونخ الأسبوع المقبل.

باريس سان جيرمان يواجه بايرن ميونخ في إياب دور الثمانية من بطولة دوري أبطال أوروبا، على ملعب بارك دي برانس يوم الثلاثاء المقبل.

وفاز باريس سان جيرمان بثلاثية مقابل هدف هدفين على بايرن ميونخ أمس في مباراة الذهاب، والتي شهدت تعرض ماركينيوس لإصابة.

وغادر ماركي المباراة في الشوط الأول بعد تسجيله الهدف الثاني، والنتيجة 2/0، ودخل بدلًا منه أندير هيريرا.

إذاعة “RMC” الفرنسية، أكدت بأن ماركينيوس سيخضع لاختبارات طبية صباح الجمعة، ومن غير المحتمل أن يشارك ضد ستراسبورج يوم السبت.

وأشارت التقارير، إلى أن بوتشيتينو لا ينوي المجازفة باللاعب أمام بايرن ميونخ، في حالة لم يحصل على التصريح الطبي بالجاهزية التامة لمشاركته.

According to German media outlet Bild, Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly interested in €50m-rated (£43m) Borussia Monchengladbach midfielder Denis Zakaria, and he is the defensive midfielder they need to allow Harry Winks and Tanguy Ndombele to flourish.

What’s the word, then?

Well, Bild report that the current Bundesliga leaders feel that the Switzerland international is one of the players they could receive a club-record transfer fee for, with their current leader the €45m they got from Arsenal for Granit Xhaka.

Bild say that Monchengladbach feel they could get at least £43m for the 22-year-old, who is interesting a number of top European clubs.

Spurs are among those according to the story, along with Bayern Munich, Borussia Dortmund, Inter Milan and Premier League rivals Manchester United.

As good as Wanyama pre-injury

The north London outfit have suffered without an out-and-out defensive midfielder in their team this season to protect the defence, with the likes of Winks, Ndombele and Moussa Sissoko playing in the deepest midfield roles –  the 10 goals they have conceded in their previous two fixtures is proof of that.

Mauricio Pochettino does have Victor Wanyama and Eric Dier available, but he clearly doesn’t trust them given their lack of minutes this season.

To be fair to the Argentine, the former was awful when he came on in the 2-1 defeat to Leicester City last month as his recent injury issues appear to have caught up with him, while the latter doesn’t look the same player that was such a mainstay in the starting XI during the early stages of the 47-year-old’s reign at Tottenham – his first Premier League start of the campaign was last time out against Brighton.

Buying Zakaria would allow the likes of Winks and Ndombele to flourish going forward though, as it is a role he is playing with his club right now.

The 22-year-old is the deepest of Monchengladbach’s central midfield trio – in a team that has only conceded six times in seven matches – and according to Bundesliga.com, he has a pass completion rate of 88% in the German flight this term.

A look back at his stats from this season and previous ones show he is more than on a par with Wanyama before he suffered his multiple injury issues with Spurs, as he averaged 2.5 tackles and 1.5 interceptions in the 2017/18 season, and 2.3 tackles and 1.4 interceptions this term, as per WhoScored.

Meanwhile, the Kenya international’s most consistent run in the starting XI came when Tottenham finished second in 2016-17, with his defensive stats standing at 2.5 tackles and 1.1 interceptions in 36 Premier League outings when Pochettino’s men only let in 26 goals.

Everton returned to winning ways for the first time since early September when they beat Wolverhampton Wanderers after the 2-0 win over West Ham United. It means the Blues have moved into 15th and eased the pressure on Marco Silva ever so slightly.

Many players put in fantastic displays in the game, but it seems that Silva left Goodison Park praising Alex Iwobi more than most.

The former Watford manager said: “Alex Iwobi understood where the space was and did everything we planned.”

Following a promising opening to his career at Everton, he played in the number 10 role behind Richarlison for the first time in the Premier League, dethroning Gylfi Sigurdsson and giving his manager plenty to ponder over ahead of the trip to Brighton this weekend.

As well as making two key passes in the game, Iwobi registered two shots on goal as well, whilst he made one tackle and completed three out of four long balls for his team, per Whoscored.

Sigurdsson was Everton’s joint top scorer in the Premier League during the last campaign (13), and he finally got his first of the season with a typical Sigurdsson-esque screamer into the top corner.

However, moving forward, the Iceland international may be forced to vacate his space in the starting lineup for Iwobi.

The two offer very different abilities in the role. The former Arsenal man may not have the natural ability to rifle home a beauty like Sigurdsson did, but what he does offer is a blend of creativity and speed to create opportunities in the final third.

Iwobi’s most recent outing will most likely force Sigurdsson to improve and create a healthy dynamic between two players vying for the number ten position.

The playmaker’s goals over the years have proven he is tough to replace in the role, but the versatile Nigerian is beginning to suggest he will provide a stark threat to his place in the XI.

قال خالد الغندور، لاعب الزمالك السابق، أنه لا يشجع أي فريق في العالم سوى القلعة البيضاء، مؤكدًا أنه يشاهد مباريات الأهلي ولكن دون تعصب.

وتشهد الأيام الجارية حالة من الجدل بين جماهير الأهلي والزمالك، بسبب الصراع على قمة الدوري بينهما هذا الموسم، حيث من المقرر أن يلتقي القطبين يوم 18 من شهر أبريل الجاري، في القمة المؤجلة بينهما من الجولة الرابعة من مسابقة الدوري المصري.

وقال خالد الغندور خلال مداخلة ببرنامج “أقر وأعترف” عبر شاشة “أون تايم سبورتس”: “أشاهد مباريات الأهلي بدون تعصب، ولا أشجع إلا الزمالك وأتمنى التوفيق له فقط”.

وأردف: “منشوراتي على السوشيال ميديا قد تكون مستفزة أحيانًا لجماهير الزمالك والأهلي، ولا أخذ بأراء السوشيال ميديا، قد أكون تعجلت في بعض التصريحات ووارد أن أكون على خطأ”.

وأضاف: “كنت في صراع نفسي خلال عملي مع مجلس إدارة الزمالك السابق، وكنت أقول ذلك في الكواليس، وقرر مرتضى منصور وقتها إيقافي شهرين”.

وواصل: “طلبت مرتين ترك قناة الزمالك، ولكن شركة إعلام المصريين لم توافق، أنا أحترمهم وأحترم المجلس السابق برئاسة مرتضى منصور ولكن أختلفت معهم”.

It was all going so well for Manchester United on Sunday afternoon. The naysayers had been having a gem of a time since the club’s dismal loss to Newcastle a couple of weeks prior, and already the eulogies were being drawn up for another Red Devils humiliation – this time at the hands of arch-rivals Liverpool.

But often with these games, form goes out the window, and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side remarkably led the reigning Champions League holders, and a team that had enjoyed a flawless start to the Premier League campaign, by a goal. However, as the pressure built up, United’s otherwise impressive defence creaked, and allowed Adam Lallana to snatch a demoralising equaliser with just minutes left to play.

Before the match, United may well have taken a draw. But having led for so long, not to come away with all three points would have been doubly frustrating. And whilst Solskjaer can take a lot of the credit for the way they stifled the visitors and hit them on the break in the first-half, his poor judgement call in the second period cost his team dearly.

The Red Devils had completely rattled Jurgen Klopp’s side with the decision to go to a 5-3-2 formation, with Marcus Rashford and Daniel James causing all sorts of problems, and the opening goal came as a result of that. But instead of committing to what had worked so well for him in the first-half, Solskjaer appeared to fold just when the pressure began to crank up a notch.

Make no mistake, Liverpool appeared to be edging back into the contest, but that should have been no surprise, considering how woeful they were in the opening period – as per Sofascore, they lost possession 68 times and completed none of their attempted crosses. At the first sign of Klopp’s men raising the temperature, the United boss called his players to retreat onto their own penalty-box, and moved to a 5-4-1 formation.

It was a switch designed to help soak up the pressure better, but in truth, it only invited more of it. Rashford, and then Martial, became isolated and couldn’t hold the ball up – the latter had just three touches of the ball in the 13 minutes he was on the pitch. The decision created more problems than it solved, and after looking so comfortable defensively from crosses out wide, United conceded their equaliser from an Andy Robertson delivery.

Having got things perfectly spot-on before the game, Solskjaer undid a lot of his hard work by making a disastrous tactical call during the game.

وكان مهاجم الزمالك ومنتخب مصر، مصطفى محمد، قد رحل إلى جالطة سراي في الميركاتو الشتوي الماضي، على سبيل الإعارة حتى نهاية الموسم المقبل مقابل 2 مليون دولار.

وبحسب صحيفة “فوتو سبور” التركية، هناك رغبة من طرف نادي بولو سبور المنافس في دوري الدرجة الأولى بالتعاقد مع، محمد شريف، مع نهاية الموسم الحالي لتدعيم خط الهجوم.

ويضم بولو سبور في الوقت الحالي مهاجم الزمالك السابق، كابونجو كاسونجو، الذي انتقل للفريق في شهر يناير الماضي بعد الرحيل عن متصدر الدوري المصري.

ويعد اسم محمد شريف أحد أبرز اللاعبين الذين يتابعهم بولو سبور الذي يحتل المركز الثاني عشر من ترتيب مسابقة الدرجة الأولى في الدوري التركي.

بولو سبور ليس النادي التركي الوحيد المهتم بضم، محمد شريف، وفقًا للصحيفة الشهيرة بل هناك اهتمام من طرف طرابزون سبور متمثل في مديره الفني، عبد الله أفيتشي.

ولكن بولو سبور هو من تحرك من أجل محمد شريف من خلال الاجتماع مع الوكيل، إبراهيم باكايوكو، الذي جلب كاسونجو إلى الفريق في يناير لمعرفة إمكانية انضمام مهاجم الأهلي.

باكايوكو على علاقة قوية بشركة التسويق الرياضي “MGB” التي تمتلك عقودا لأكثر من لاعب في الدوري المصري على رأسهم، محمد شريف، للانتقال إلى الدوري التركي.

وأبلغ باكايوكو عن طريق محمد رزقي أحد المسئولين في شركة التسويق أن الأهلي في الوقت الحالي ينافس على بطولات مهمة، ولكنه يرى أن هناك فرصة لموافقة شريف على الانتقال إلى تركيا.

Everton fans were disappointed with Jordan Pickford’s performance after seeing their side lose 3-2 to Brighton & Hove Albion on Saturday.

A free-kick from Pascal Gross in the first half appeared to be straight at the England goalkeeper, but it fizzed past him and into the back of the net as the Seagulls took an early lead.

The Toffees battled back to take a 2-1 lead but Neal Maupay scored a penalty after Michael Keane was adjudged to have fouled Aaron Connolly in the box and Lucas Digne inadvertently put the ball in his own net in injury time to consign Marco Silva’s men to defeat.

And supporters were particularly unhappy with Pickford’s display.

Indeed, this season, the ‘keeper has kept just three clean sheets and two of those came in the opening two games of the season.

Since then, in eight games, the 25-year-old has conceded 16 times.

Southampton fans have taken to Twitter to reveal that they want Danny Rohl to return to St Mary’s, after it was announced that Bayern Munich had parted ways with Niko Kovac.

Rohl – formerly Ralph Hasenhuttl’s No.2 on the south coast – left Southampton back in the summer to team up with Kovac at the Allianz Arena, although the Croatian’s stint at the helm has ended following a 5-1 defeat to his former side Eintracht Frankfurt.

The Daily Mail reported that Rohl’s exit from Southampton ‘stunned’ the playing staff, with the recent report revealing that Saints players are still reeling from his departure – results have gone downhill since the German left, with the south coast outfit currently sat in the relegation zone.

As a result, some Southampton fans have almost immediately revealed their desire to see Rohl return to the club following Kovac’s sacking in Munich – it remains to be seen what Rohl’s next step is.
